You may have heard of hot-baths-burning-calories hitting the Internet by storm. I like to brush that off as a mere remark passed by a blabber of sorts, but this is what you need to know. As much as it sounds too good to be true, it is… well, sort of.

The study was published in Temperature by Steve Faulkner, an exercise physiologist at Loughborough University, who discovered you can burn 140 calories per hour.

Who would have thought there could be a link between hot baths, blood sugar and calories! Not me, for sure.

So while this is a pretty neat discovery, tbh, you shouldn’t skip this for your regular exercises. Plus imagine your skin getting all prune-y after an hour in the hot tub.
